On Monday, August 15th 2022, Bill Barker, an actor, joined Advocates for Balance at Chautauqua at the historic Athenaeum Hotel on the grounds of the Chautauqua Institution to appearing as Thomas Jefferson to discuss the issues and deliberations surrounding the adoption of our Constitution and Bill of Rights. Dressed as Thomas Jefferson, Barker, who now portrays Jefferson at Monticello and previously for 20 years at Colonial Williamsburg Foundation, discussed the importance of these documents in the shaping of America. Our mission at Advocates for Balance at Chautauqua (ABC) is to achieve a balance of speakers in a mutually civil and respectful environment consistent with the historic mission of Chautauqua. www.abcatchq.com
