HEAVY METAL: ANGER AND RAGE / Pastor Bob's Coffee Break

Dear Pastor Bob: I have a passion in my heart to do metal music again, but I have these differing feelings. I don’t want the energy of anger and rage to infuse people. I was involved with all sorts of genres of metal and most of the time venues had a very demonic energy and very dark and hellish. Very little presence of God at shows and only a glimpse of the Lord would shine through “Christian metal” bands. Most of the time they were playing to entertain audibly, and quite the heavy and aggressive mosh pit occurs. I know you might say this is just fine and normal and acceptable, but what are your thoughts about dwelling in such anger and rage which the music tonality promotes?
