We have just planted a vine and we need something to support it along the top of the conservatory on the inside. But we don't want to drill or make any permanent fixture to the conservatory itself. Some sort of a self-supporting shower or curtain rail was needed but finding one long enough was not easy.

This one from the curiously named Qlfyuu seemed to fit the bill.
The rail comes in three sections with a suction cup base on either end and a wall bracket to support it mid-way. The diameter is quite large and with all three sections connected it will stretch up to 310 cm.

In the box are three sections of 32 mm tubing, each of different lengths and with one having an internal spring mechanism with external locking pins and a prefitted end cap. Three end-piece suction caps are included and a metal wall mount with a screw fixing kit. The printed installation guide is large and easy to read.

Build quality is excellent, it feels tough and robust and is heavier than I expected. The instructions are good and all the parts are individually number coded to make it easier to install.

In fact, it was easier to fit than I expected but is better when there are two of you to do so. Make sure you get the three tubes in the correct order and then extend the length to slightly longer than needed and depress the internal spring to fit it in place. Then release the tension to allow the tube to expand to the full length needed for a firm grip against the wall. To prevent sagging and for additional support, it is advisable to use the wall bracket mid-way.

At 32mm diameter the tubing is larger than many so make sure your curtain hooks will fit, make sure also to fit the wall bracket in a place that will not interfere with the closing of the curtains.

Build quality is excellent, the instructions are clear enough and the fitting was easier than I thought it would be. For the price of £27.99, I think this is a pretty good buy.
