Class of 2020 returned on may 22nd of 2022 to celebrate graduation, and was lucky enough to have Angela Duckworth as a commencement speaker. She is a psychologist mostly known for her book Grit, and in this speech she talks about just that grit= passion + persitence - not being afraid to change the course of action and follow your heart.

She started her PhD at Penn at the age of 32; another message of the speech is that if you feel lost, it's ok; it's good to try different things before settling for one specific thing.

The author of this video, Isak, a 21-year-old student at UPenn, relates to the speech as he is still searching for his life-purpose, but feeling he is closer and closer to finding it, while aware that when "found", journey only begins.

Dr. Angela Duckworth has been one of his favorite professors he has had, while studying at UPenn.

Congrats to class of 2020 for officially graduating.
