Biden to sign U.S. chip manufacturing executive order

President Biden is set to sign an executive order Thursday that kick-starts implementation of the law to boost U.S. domestic microchip-making and scientific research. The executive order will create a 16-member implementation steering council made up of cabinet secretaries and top white house officials from Biden’s national security and economic teams.
