GONE WRONG ~ TDI Balance Shaft Delete

Someone did a balance shaft module delete on this 2004 VW Passat. When doing so, they did not install the crankshaft gear correctly. The end result is damage to the crankshaft.

The symptom was the car would not start, or would randomly shut off. It had codes for the cam sensor out of range.
