Northern Fleet flagship tests cruise missile as part of exercises

Russian Northern Fleet's flagship ship, the heavy nuclear-powered missile cruiser Peter the Great, launched a Granit cruise missile at a naval target near the Novaya Zemlya archipelago as part of a routine exercise with a group of strike forces of the Northern Fleet in the waters of the Barents Sea. According to objective control, the target was successfully hit at a distance of more than 200 km.
