Ron Johnson Is TERRIFIED To Vote On A Marriage Equality Bill

Senator Ron Johnson says there is no need to codify same-sex marriage because of the Supreme Court ruling in Obergefell v Hodges. Johnson then says that he believes in civil unions. The Majority Report crew discusses how Democrats like Obama and Biden once too believed in civil unions before marriage equality was the law of the land. However, the crew takes about how it is Democrats like Senator Chuck Schumer that are delaying solidifying the court's decision back in 2015, as there has not been a floor vote on the matter. The Majority Report crew also talks about how this is similar to the Build Back Better disc and how Republicans need to be on record voting against people’s rights.

Here's Ron Johnson who as I just said can't stop putting his foot in his mouth he is in a hotly contested uh re-election race against Mandela Barnes, the Democratic nominee just won recently, strong candidate. Ron johnson broke his promise to his voters he said he only seek two terms in the senate currently seeking his third, and he was caught by the January 6 committee or at least his top aide was now Ron johnson pretending that oh the aide was acting completely roguely: texting offering to give fake electors to uh mike pence's top aide which pence's aide said we don't want any part of that essentially um trying to act as a foot soldier for Donald Trump in the senate to overturn the election.
