Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and German Chancellor Olaf Scholz participate in a virtual summit for world leaders who are part of the International Crimea Platform. In his remarks, the prime minister announces new measures to support Ukraine amid Russia’s ongoing invasion, including sanctions on 62 close associates of the Russian regime, as well as the creation of a special team to counter Russian state-sponsored disinformation.
