Officially called the Republic of Bulgaria, is located in Southeast Europe and occupies the whole eastern part of the Balkans. Bulgaria borders with Romania, Serbia, North Macedonia, Greece and Turkey and her capital is called Sofia.

Now that we know where is located, let's see when was it formed?

In the year 681, Bulgaria was formed by Han Asparuh, the Bulgarian cavalry undertook attacks from south of the Balkan Mountains, in the region of Thrace from the Byzantin emperor Constantin the IV. The core of the Bulgarian army was the heavy cavalry, which consisted of 12,000 heavily armed riders.
Not having enough military forces to successfully resist, Constantin was forced to conclude a peace treaty with the ruler of the Bulgarian ARMY, after that the year 681, became the year of the establishment of the First Bulgarian Empire.
