With temperatures at 113 Fahrenheit (43 Celsius), China is facing scorching heat and severe drought problems. The Yangtze River, which stretches almost 4,000 miles across Southwest and Central China, is facing historic low water levels. Extreme weather is affecting farming and factory production. Volkswagen and Apple parts factories are shut down, affecting the global supply chain.

The Yangtze River’s tributaries and reservoirs are emptying, and major cities are forced to conserve electricity.

I spoke with a survivor of communism from Ukraine. She is running for Congress and warning Americans about the danger of communism. Angela Grabovsky joins me to talk about her story.
