We all face challenges that seem out of our control. I tried all kinds of therapy and self-soothing mechanisms to cope. Ice baths signal a dopamine release that makes me feel happier and accomplished. I learned to reframe “stress” in a more positive light. I’m more ambitious and confident. Most of all, I’m okay with a little discomfort. Tics and thoughts still happen, but I’m in control. ☺️💙🧊
