RULES:
The object of the game is to 5 in a row horizontally, vertically, or diagonally. Layout the board then place all the cubes on it, blank side up. Each player picks a different symbol: crosses or o’s. Pick a player to go first, then turns alternate. On your turn pick one cube from the outside periphery that is either your symbol or blank, then you must return that cube to either the row or column you took it from, with your symbol facing up, so that you push the cubes back together completing the 5x5 grid. You are not allowed to return a cube to the same spot you took it from.

The first player to complete a 5 in a row wins. If you complete a 5 in a row for your opponent then you lose, even if you created a 5 in a row for yourself at the same time.
