I love Lake Michigan and the smaller inland lakes along the southern shoreline, like Lake Lelanau.

We took Grace, a home-made sailboat of my own design, up to Leland for a 42nd anniversary trip.

The weather was a bit of a challenge, and my patient wife endured getting caught in an unforecasted squall, and on our 42nd anniversary!

Some great sailing and a fine celebration getaway...
