Fresh not Frozen - Let’s smother thin steak

Let’s smother some thin #beefsteak.
#washyourhands, #wipe down your stove, counter, etc,
Wash your meat. I use #redbellpepper, #greenbellpepper, #onion, and #garlic but that is optional.
I put oil in the skillet, low heat add the vegetables and let it cook while I am seasoning the meat. When the onions look clear I add the meat.
I then add a few squirts of #worsteshiresauce. I put a top on it and let it cook on low.
Towards the last quarter of cook time I take some flour (amount varies based on how much gravy needed) I add seasoning. Mix it with the flour. And for this example I use boiling water. I add it to the flour and whip it with a fork adding water until it reaches the thickness desired.
I remove the top and add the flour base to the skillet. After adding you mix until it is thoroughly mixed with the existing liquid. Watch it to make sure the flour does not get too thick. If needed add more hot water.

Replace top and allow it to cook to your desired tenderness.

Serve over #rice or #mashedpotatoes
