'We are not alone': Vancouverites spot UFO-like object in sky

An odd object floated over Vancouver last night, puzzling many Vancouverites. Vancouverisawesome.com reported.

The object itself was unidentifiable in the dark night sky, but the lights, which caught the attention of a few people, were lined up together in a straight line, leading some to think the object may be a UFO or other alien-like object or machine. Vancouverisawesome.com reports.

Video footage captured the lights visible above Greater Victoria, including downtown Victoria to Pedder Bay near Metchosin and beyond near Ladysmith. Cheknews reports.

According to space columnist Andrew Fazekas -- AKA the Night Sky Guy -- the likely answer is that the line of light was made up of several satellites launched by American space company SpaceX. CTV News reported.

“We are not alone,” said one post on Twitter.

Another social media post suggested that it could be Starlink satellites “roaming across the night sky.”
