3 Indiana students die in fiery car accident

Three Indiana State University students died in a fiery single-vehicle accident early Sunday morning, according to a press release from the school. NBC News reports.

Five people were in the car, including multiple ISU football players, when it struck a tree and went up in flames around 1:34 a.m., the Vigo County Sheriff's Office said.  Fox News Reported.

“This is a terrible tragedy,” ISU President Dr. Deborah J. Curtis said. “As we are waiting on additional details from authorities investigating this accident, our hearts go out to the families and friends of the students involved.” Fox59 reported.

The University announced the news on its website and also announced the ISU women’s soccer game is being rescheduled due to the tragedy. Fox59 reports.
