THE ALPHA INCIDENT 1978 - A microorganism from Mars, brought to Earth by a space probe, is being transported on a special railroad car. Due to some misunderstanding and bungling, it gets released at a rural train station stop, terrorizing passengers in a railroad office. Several people are trapped there in quarantine after being exposed to the alien virus, and they will suffer a horrible death if they don't get help in time.

Bill Rebane made this feature from the profits of Giant Spider Invasion (which can also be seen on this channel). It's a sort of low-budget Andromeda Strain with a classic Twilight Zone/Outer Limits type of atmosphere, but in color. It's probably my favorite of his films.
