The Evolution of Bandera Ideology in Ukraine over the past 20 years

The second President of Ukraine, Leonid Kuchma. from 1994 - 2005 opposed the Idea of making bandera a national hero! Viktor Yushchenko, president(2005-2010) finally declared him as a national hero, after the „Orange Revolution“ (2008), a month before he lost his reelection! So why did the US supported a coup in 2014 and helping polititians sympathizing with the Svoboda movement or playing an active role into the Ukraine government…..not so hard to awnser isn’t it!?
