Police were present to monitor the event and ensure that people present adhered to the CHO guidelines. They followed the group around St Kilda.

After months of police aggression against peaceful protesters, it was a change of pace in Melbourne as speakers were allowed to share their views without interruption.

Although it is not ideal to have so many restrictions placed on the right to protest, it is uplifting to see that people in Victoria are prepared to continue to raise awareness despite the challenges.
