Objections to Pursuing a Filipina to Marry 4-6

I am all for a man looking for someone to marry in the Philippines as I did that myself, but I got married too fast to have many objections, that I can remember. After reflecting on those early days I can think of several objections a man might have when considering finding love beyond the sea. A recent video listed three possible objections, today I will talk about three additional ones.

Love Beyond The Sea is a biblical pro-marriage channel to help encourage and inspire men to pursue a Filipina for marriage.

A Filipina is a woman from the Philippines and can still make you a great wife, as I have discovered myself!

My channel is to equip men for this pursuit and to be the kind of husband every Filipina wants.

I will talk about as many aspects of marital relationships to a Filipina that I can. We've been married since May 10 of 2015, getting married in only 54 days from across the world.

The visa process-I can relate to this one from experiencing it myself. I knew absolutely nothing about the visa process when I got on that first plane out of Nebraska to go to the Philippines. I also knew if I could afford to do it, I would pay someone to help with it so it goes smoother without mistakes and delays. I have an affiliate link on lbvts.com under Find Your LvBTS that will take you to the visa services offered by Christian Filipina. Many have done it on their own as the website for what is needed from the US Embassy in Manila has all the information. My concern was that it all get executed properly. This is also something with a lot of help online or on YouTube if you prefer.

How to communicate-Another understandable area that I can help you with as I have done a couple of live streams on questions to ask during different stages of the relationship. I have four lists of questions you can ask a Filipina when you pass through different stages of seriousness. If you are worried that a younger Filipina will be afraid to talk to you, I think it is more likely to be the other way around. I found they tend to be easy to talk to, could be a little shy but it won’t interfere with communication. I found them to be comfortable on a webcam. The only difficulty I had with Aiza was when we texted, sometimes we misunderstood each other but that didn’t happen on Skype.

Too far away to travel-Another way to look at it is that it takes a lot of time. From Nebraska to Davao City requires four flights regardless of the route and from 26 hours minimum and ideal if you can get very short layovers, otherwise it can stretch into 36 hours or more. That is a lot time and involves layovers in perhaps hot airports (not always), and the normal requirement of knowing where you are to go to next at the airport, going to customs, TSA etc. Sitting a lot can give some of us a sore back and it can be difficult to sleep on the flights, even when they turn the lights off in the plane.
