DELIVERANCE - SETTING THE CAPTIVE FREE
This message will provide instruction on PRACTICAL TACTICAL SPIRITUAL WARFARE.
We will address topics like; WHAT IS A DEMON? HOW DO THEY ENTER? HOW DOES A CHRISTIAN CAST OUT A DEMON!
A big part of Jesus ministry was setting people free from demons. In fact ¼ of the recorded acts of Jesus in the NT involved delivering people from demonic oppression or possession.
“And He [Jesus] healed many who were ill with various diseases, and cast out many demons; and He was not permitting the demons to speak, because they knew who He was… And He went into their synagogues throughout all Galilee, preaching and casting out the demons.” Mark 1:34, 39 (Luke 11:14, Mark 16:9)
THROUGHOUT HISTORY AND IN ALMOST EVERY CIVILIZATION there has been an innate awareness of demons and their destructive effect on people! But the modern atheistic culture we live in, attempts to give natural explanations for demonic deviant manifestations refusing to believe in the existence of things that cannot be seen under a microscope or measured by natural instruments.
But if you claim to be a Christian and trust the teaching and words of Jesus you should become educated about demons and their activity.
The Bible says: “I do not want to be ignorant my brethren concerning the devil in his devices.” 2 Corinthians 2:11
IT IS VERY IMPORTANT THAT ALL BELIEVERS LEARN HOW TO DEAL WITH THE THREAT OF THE EXISTENCE OF DEMONS IN OUR LIVES.
The scripture warn us in the last days there will be an increase in demonic activity
“Now the Spirit speak expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, listening to seduce spirits, and doctrines of devils” 1 Timothy 4:1

THE WORLD & MEDIA IS FASCINATED WITH THE SPIRIT WORLD but watching & even curious engagement with these occult practices opens you up to demonic oppression.
The Bible tells us “You shall not learn to do after the abomination of those nations. There shall not be found with you any one... that uses divination (fortune telling), or an observer of times (soothsayer), or an enchanter (magician), or a witch (sorceress), or a charmer (hypnotist), or a consulter with familiar spirits (medium possessed with a spirit "guide"), or a wizard (clairvoyant or psychic), or a necromancer (medium who consults the dead). For all that do these things are an ABOMINATION unto the Lord!” Deuteronomy 18:9-12
There's never been a time in history when the warning against the dangers of occultism is more necessary than the present. Many people (even some Christians) in an attempt to get relief from physical or emotional pain have turned to psychics, hypnotists or New Age healers & techniques.
These are not new techniques they’re just the same old occult practices repackaged. Although they may provide some temporary relief, eventually they bring those who expose themselves to their influence into more bondage and spiritual oppression.
It is my hope that this series will open your eyes to understand of the world we live in. And WITH NEW EYES YOU WILL SEE THOSE THAT THERE ARE CAPTIVES THAT NEED DELIVERANCE -Bound by Fear, Anger, lust or slaves to addictions of various kinds. The chains that hold them are often more than the substances they abuse or sin that amuses.
” Do you not know that when you present yourselves to someone as slaves for obedience, you are slaves of the one whom you obey, either of sin resulting in death, or of obedience resulting in righteousness?” Romans 6:16
THE THINGS YOU SUBMIT YOURSELVES TO CAN QUICKLY BECOME YOUR MASTER.
But the good news is that JESUS GAVE US THE POWER, AUTHORITY AND THE COMMISSION TO SET THE CAPTIVE FREE.
Jesus said “Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse those who have leprosy, drive out demons. Freely you have received; freely give.”
