Biscuits and Sausage Gravy: Using Only Shelf Stable and Freezer Ingredients

Who can say “No” to biscuits and gravy? Even Low Carb folks can enjoy different variations.

We’re sticking to Shelf-Stable, and Freezer ingredients only. These biscuits and gravy really are “THAT” good!

Buttermilk Biscuits:
2 cups self-rising flour (all-purpose + 1 ½ tsp baking powder and ¼ tsp salt) plus a little extra for rolling dough
1 cup buttermilk (whole milk + 1 tsp vinegar)
3/4 stick (6 Tbsp) salted butter or 3 oz Ghee

Bake at 450 F. for 12-18 minutes or until golden

Sausage Gravy:
¼ Cup Oil (I use Bacon Grease)
3 Tbsp Flour
1 ½ Cup Warm Milk
1 Cup Breakfast Sausauge
½ tsp Onion Powder
½ tsp Garlic Salt
½ tsp Salt
¼ tsp Pepper
