Luna v Hayslett: Florida Congressional Race | Public Occurrences, Ep. 99

This past April, I moderated the Republican Florida District 13 Congressional Race that included Anna Paulina Luna, Kevin Hayslett, Amanda Makki, Audrey Henson and Christine Quinn.

Both in the preparation and moderation of the debate, I learned quite a bit about the candidates, their intentions, and their motivations for running for Pinellas County’s Congressional seat.

Since that time, the campaign from Kevin Hayslett has turned ugly - but only towards one other candidate: Anna Paulina Luna. In the course of the past 2 months, the ugliness and complete lies supplied by the Hayslett campaign have been some of the most egregious examples of false propaganda ever levied against a fellow Republican candidate.

Hayslett’s campaign has sent flier after ugly, photoshopped flier to the residents of Tampa Bay, attempting to create a reflexive feedback loop of fertile fallacies regarding Luna. Hayslett as well has used the deceptive phrase that he is a “Trump Republican” even though Anna Paulina Luna is the only candidate who is officially endorsed by President Donald Trump.

A closer examination into Hayslett’s claims of being a conservative Republican find clear contradictions to his claims:

1. On Hayslett’s campaign website, he claimed to be a member of Trinity Presbyterian Church - a church that supports Critical Race Praxis, the development of a critical consciousness, Open Borders, Amnesty for illegal immigrants, transgenderism and a postmodern view of the Christian faith. When he was informed of the blatant contradictions, Hayslett had the website claim of membership changed to Harbourside Church. https://web.archive.org/web/20220128232809/https:/hayslettforcongress.com/meet-kevin/
2. Hayslett also lobbied hard for digital currency under the current administration - the death knell for liberty and freedom for citizens of the United States of America
3. Hayslett was evasive and refused to answer simple questions in regards to his past insults directed towards former President Trump in a recent interview: https://twitter.com/VoteAPL/status/1558305548487069696

With the blatant lies being told about other candidates and the lack of veracity for Hayslett’s own claims about his own attributes, voters in Pinellas County really have only one clear choice.

Today, I offer my full support and endorsement of Anna Paulina Luna for the FL Congressional 13 seat in the House of Representatives.

and other liberty-minded patriots that are standing together for a hopeful future for this nation.
