SSL579 ~ They held it HOSTAGE!

Yes it took a while, but we finally got our new electric drive system for our dinghy conversion! The system consists of an ePropulsion Navy6.0 6Kw EVO motor which is a direct drive brushless motor, so the actual motor is underwater and supposed to be completely silent.. can't wait to test that! The motor is powered by an ePropulsion e175 9Kw LiFePO4 Lithium battery bank and a full digital control system that will tell us battery remaining, speed, distance remaining at current load, and even has wireless bracelet man-overboard protection!
