Plants vs Zombies 2 - Penny's Pursuit - Hypno-shroom - August 2022

This Penny's quest focuses on the Gem plant Hypno-shroom and was offered between August 17, 2022 and August 24, 2022.

Hypno-shroom is a member of the Enchant-Mint family.
Hypno-shroom costs 125 Sun. (100 at level 5)
When eaten by a zombie, the zombie is hypnotized and will now fight for the player.
Zombies hypnotized this way will have their health fully restored.

Commentary:
Definitely a different kind of plant. It's nice being able to not only stop a very dangerous zombie but to have said zombie fight for you. When given plant food, one obtains a Gargantuar zombie of their own. Very nice indeed.

Bottom Line:
Sadly though, this plant is really just an expensive instant use plant. Hypnotized zombies eliminate 0-2 zombies generally speaking. While it certainly is better than nothing - and Hypno-shroom does well in an Enchant-Mint setup - this plant's effect simply isn't strong enough compared to other options available.

While the Gargantuars are indeed nice, unless the level has plenty of plant food, hypnotized Gargantuars are few and they can be eliminated.

Starting Sun = 2,000 / 1,800 / 1,550
Need Imp Pear so plant food can handle things

Level 3 - Difficulty 🌶️🌶️🌶️ - Bonus 1 of 2
Perk = JALAPEÑO 🌶️🌶️🌶️
Survive the zombie attack.
Never have more than 16 / 15 / 14 plants.
Destroy not offered / 10 / 15 Healer Staffs

Level 4 - Difficulty 🌶️🌶️🌶️ - FAIL
Perk = Puffballs on conveyor belt
Survive the zombie attack.
Survive and protect the endangered plants - column of Iceberg Lettuce on column 4 / 5 / 6.
This level can be done but it needs a high level of perk, maybe even multiple ones.

Level 5 - Difficulty 🌶️🌶️🌶️ - FAIL
Perk = Puffballs on conveyor belt
Survive the zombie attack
There are precious flowers on the lawn which can not be trampled - 4 and 5
Stun zombies not offered / 10 / 25 times
This level requires a high level of a money plant or a high perk level - maybe even multiple perks.
