Episode 1 - Pond and Filter - Project Update

This is a short video to show what has gone on with the huge pond filter in 2020 / 2021.
Originally the filter was on the Northern side of the pond but that was totally the wrong place to have it.
When cleaning the filters out I had to drag a long length of pipe from one end of the garden to the other in order to drain the silt from the filter chambers and it was all being wasted......no good.

Therefore the whole filter was all moved to the South side of the pond and all the drains were linked to the new vegetable gardens.
Now the gardens are watered with the nutritious water from the filters and the plants are growing madly.
The vegetable gardens are featured in parts 3 & 4 of this series.

With the way the world is heading being self sufficient for power, having a supplemented organic diet and learning the skills to harvest and grow food will be the new currency.
