Chicken Beef Burger with Simple Mash

INGREDIENTS

2 chicken breasts (grounded or finely chopped)
½ lb. ground beef
4 green onions
½ of a large cooking onion
1 sweet red pepper
½ sweet yellow pepper
1 table spoon yogurt
1 table spoon oil
Small bunch of Parsley
2 cooked potatoes
2 table spoons of butter
1 egg
2 teaspoons of salt

ALTERNATE INGREDIENTS
Sour cream or cream cheese can be used instead of yogurt. Any kind of peppers, sweet or hot.
Whole or grounded chicken breast can be used. A pinch of black pepper can be added. Baking soda can be added to make if fuller or thicker. No baking soda or black pepper was added to the recipe in this video.

COOKING INSTRUCTIONS
Chicken breast was washed and seasoned 24 hrs. prior. The seasoning ingredients: salt, black pepper, garlic, cooking onions, thyme, masala, and yogurt.
Finely chop or grind the parsley, green and cooking onion and oil together in a food processor. You can use ground chicken or de-bone a regular chicken breast as seen in the video. An electric mincer is used to mince the chicken after de-boning the chicken.
In a large bowl mix all the ingredients together. Grounded chicken, beef, spices, and an egg. Leave the mix to stand for 15 minutes, then form into patties.
Boil and drain the potatoes, add 2 table spoon of butter and mashed together.

FRYING INSTRUCTIONS
Heat up the oil – Fry for 20 – 25 minutes total 10 -12 minutes on both sides– or until it’s no longer pink inside.

BAKING INSTRUCTIONS
Pre-heat at 350 for 25-30 mins – Grill on high heat for 10-12 minutes on both sides – or until it’s no longer pink inside.
