JSO releases body cam video of shooting that left 2 dead, K9 hurt
The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office has released body camera video for an officer-involved shooting that happened on Zoo Parkway last month, July 22.
The shooting killed two people and injured K9 officer Huk.
According to JSO, officers pursued a vehicle with 3 suspects who were believed to be involved in a shooting on Zoo Parkway.
The chase ended after the vehicle crashed at Busch Drive and Zoo Parkway and a shootout between officers and the suspects followed.
Two of the suspects, De’Shaun Lockett and Tyjarius Holton, were later found deceased. The other suspect, identified as Robert Motley, was transported to the hospital for “unknown injuries.”
JSO K9 Huk was injured during the incident after he was shot multiple times. Huk recovered at a veterinary center in Jacksonville Beach.
