Saguaro National Park, Arizona

In May, we visited the Tucson Mountain District of Saguaro National Park, about 10 miles east of Tucson. The temperature reached about 89 degrees, so it wasn’t too hot.

There are plenty of trails to hike, and if you go to Signal Mountain, you can hike to the Hohokam Petroglyphs, which are about 800 years old. Make sure you bring plenty of water when you go hiking here, as temperature can become very hot.
