Making garden beds from metal roofing panels

I decided to make a raised bed to grow vegetables. I had made them out of wood, but over time, wood decays. I saw a couple making raised beds from metal roofing. It struck me that was the way to go. No wood to rot in a short period of time and the metal panels could be purchased from a local dealer from their scrap area. With the height and width it does take more dirt to fill the bed.

It cost $5 for 2x4's and $30 for the metal. Not bad for something that will last several years.
Dimensions:
Wood
2x4x8
1x6x8'3"
Corrugated metal
2'x3'
Used 15 feet of corrugated panels
Used 8 feet of metal roofing cap for corners

Also check out Sawyer Ridge Farm on YouTube as they have made a lot of raised beds.
