Why the C8 is an Insane Value & What to Order on the 2020 Corvette | Sons of Speed

On this episode of Corvette Corner, we do a very DEEP DIVE on the just-released pricing of the 2020 Corvette Stingray and tell you why it's an insane value, especially compared to the 2019 Stingray. Q&A: one of our viewers had the following two questions about the C8, and Chevy was gracious enough to answer them!

Q: Dealer installed accessories – If a dealer-installed accessory becomes a constraint (e.g. the body-color ground effects kit that I want) will it 100% delay the order of the whole car? In my mind, I should maintain my same spot in line for production of the car, and I would just be waiting on the dealer-installed accessory separately when it becomes unconstrained and arrives at the dealership.

A (by Chevy): In this instance, we would advise a customer to remove any accessories that are constrained from their order, then add them to your car at a later date when they are no longer constrained.

Q: If I opt for a transparent top but also dual racing stripes, will the optional top come with the stripes added? I am most likely going to follow your advice and get the dual top option. Where I would expect the body color top to come with stripes and the transparent top to not.

A (by Chevy): That is correct – stripes would go on body color top but the transparent would not.
