This is the second part of a series that aims to help the cult FOLLOWER or potential cult follower to hopefully avoid many of the pitfalls I and others have fallen into.

This episode will delve into a key reason that cult followers get involved with cults to begin with--they are looking for a replacement for the relationship they never had with their father. It is common.

We will also discuss potential "red flags" that come up in the behavior of cult leaders, that the follower tends to explain away with a convenient excuse. "Red flags" are warnings that can alert us to something that is very wrong.

Often there are a number of unexplainable situations that occur, which typically are excused and swept away. We must learn to trust what WE see, and not "outsource" our reason to the "authority." Actually, that's all that is really necessary to achieve freedom.
