Jesus: Healer, Part IV
Pastor Gary Denbow
Isaiah 53:5

Jesus was healer of every disease
1. The Blind Man in Bethsaida. (Mark 8:22-26)
• Bethsaida was cursed by Jesus for rejecting the gospel.
• Jesus led the man out of town
• He put spittle on the man’s eyes
• The man was healed instantly, but with gradual clearing of sight.

2. The Man Born Blind in Jerusalem. (John 9:1-7)
• God would get glory for this man’s healing.
• Jesus used his spittle to make a clay plaster for the man’s eyes. He then commanded the man to wash it off.
• The man was turned into the Pharisees for his own healing, by neighbors.
• Jesus returned to him with a message of complete salvation.

3. Two blind men in Jericho. (Mark 10:45-52, Matt 20:29-34, Luke 18:35-43)
• Bartimaeus heard a great commotion and became excited to hear of Jesus coming to town.
• The cry of Bartimaeus to Jesus.
• Jesus was stopped by the cry and demanded the person be brought to him.
• Jesus spoke healing, and the man became a disciple, living for the glory of God
