Giant Redwoods RV and Camp Destination in Myers Flat California offers full and partial hookup RV and primitive tent camping with both open and shaded sites. Adjacent to the Eel River about half a mile off US Hwy 101 the park is next to the Avenue of the Giants and does have second growth Redwoods inside the park. Situated in a bend of the Eel River the property is accessible by most any sized RV and also provides a very scenic row of tent camping sites with views looking down on the river and across to the Redwoods. While the roads and parking pads are packed gravel all of the sites have naturally irrigated mowed grass separators. Sites have picnic tables and fire rings. A small store, the office, has basic necessities and wood available.

Centrally located in the Campground is a small playground, fenced dog run, horseshoes, and tether ball. In addition the park has a volleyball court and families will find plenty of open area down in the river gravel along the water. When water levels permit the river has an excellent swimming hole next top the property with native fish species swimming by for fishing. Guests have coded access to a small laundry and two bathhouses with restrooms. Wifi is available but limited (additional fee for more access). Verizon 4G service is available but spotty.

Located mid-way along the World Famous Avenue of the Giants guests can easily drive or bicycle along the scenic roadway under the canopy of old and second growth Redwood trees. Humboldt Redwoods State Park is the primary manager of the public lands along the Avenue of the Giants has multiple hiking trails available and the Burlington Visitor Center is about 5 miles northwest of the campground.
