Metal Shaping: Jaguar E-Type Aluminum Bonnet Build (Part 6)

In this video Wray has completed both the left and right panels of the front bonnet section for the E-Type Jaguar. After showing how to shape the sheet metal in parts 1-5 he clamps the panels together and confirms everything with the flexible shape pattern. Once everything is clamped together he tacks them with the TIG Welder using fusion welds. Now that the front section is tacked he then welds both sides, planishes the panels and cleans up the welds starting with 50 grit then ending with 400 grit and scotch bright.
