How NOT to Get Lost While Looking For Gold (and other adventures)

It's so easy to get lost! Some people might refer to it as "Temporarily situationally confused", but by whatever term you call it you can be scared out of your wits and you could even lose your life. It doesn't even matter what you're doing in the wilderness, whether it be hiking, biking, hunting, rock hounding, camping, you name it, it only takes a few minutes to get disoriented and confused to the point where you don't know how to get back to your starting point. This is the first video I'm doing on "Staying Found" and I talk about using your smart phone to get back to your camp, your car or the trailhead. There's another video coming soon on using your compass to keep yourself oriented and finding your way back out of a dicey situation. Also, we're out looking for gold in a layer of bedrock using our metal detector and we locate an old dig, but did we get anything? Watch until the end to find out.
