They recorded the terrifying moment in which a six-meter shark approaches the boat

VIDEO of the moment a huge shark approaches a boat has gone viral on Twitter.

The horror movie-like scene is not for the faint of heart, showing ripples on the water in a V-line, which can only mean one thing - a huge shark is heading straight for the ship. The footage, which was posted on The Daily Jaws' Twitter account, shows the shark coming dangerously close, and then the camera pans down to the edge of the boat as the dog passes by.

It takes a moment to see the outline of the shark in the sea and its actual size.

"Holy shit," commented the person recording the video, and the team from the Twitter profile found that it was a six-meter shark. Twitter users commented that it is safe and bigger, referring to the famous scene from the cult movie Jaws in which Quint (Robert Shaw) tells Matt Hooper (Richard Dreyfuss) to turn off the engine.

Hooper says the shark is 20 feet tall, and Quint tells him it's at least 25,000 pounds.

One tweeter came up with a good answer: "They're gonna need a bigger ship," again referencing the iconic scene from the movie, while another hit the minds of many: "I don't care what kind of shark this is, that thing has the mark of a fucking submarine."
