Fawn has to swim to escape from dogs!

I had quite an adventure yesterday. I’ll trying to take pictures of the bald eagles the dogs and I were walking around the edge of the river. All of a sudden I heard something splashing through the water. I couldn’t see what it was but I saw the dogs. Zak took off down the trail after a deer. After a moment I heard a loud bleat from the deer. I took off after them to try to save it if Zak had caught it. Then looked towards the water again and saw another small deer swimming. I took off running through the woods trying to get around the point Incase it got to tired to keep swimming. I only fell once when I stepped in a hole that went up to my knee. I made it in time to see that it got to solid ground. I’m sure momma deer came back to find it that night.
