Today we are ready for one more journey, a hike in Washington State. It is Mount Saint Helens 200 miles from Seattle and it takes 3 hours and 30 minutes to get there. We had several stops on our way. We stopped at the viewpoint of the Hoffstadt Creek Bridge, the Elk viewing point with the observatory deck and an amazing view of the mountain, and the Mount St. Helens National Volcanic Monument.
Our final stop was at Coldwater Lake where we began our hike around it. It was 5 miles walk one way, and took us about 4 hours to walk to the beach area where Jesse had some fun swimming in a cold water. We made it back to the car faster and went straight home taking the same road.

Tip: Don’t forget the sunscreen, bug spray and swimsuits of course. There are no stores around, so better bring your lunch with you.

Сегодня мы готовы к новому путешествию в Штате Вашингтон. Это гора Сент-Хеленс, которая находится в 200 милях от Сиэтла. Добраться до нее на машине займет около 3 часов и 30 минут. Нашей конечной остановкой было озеро Coldwater Lake, где мы и начали наш путь по тропе вокруг озера. Мы прошли 5 миль (4 часа) в одну сторону к небольшому пляжу, где Джесси купался в холодной воде. Обратный путь оказался быстрее и мы по той же дороге поехали обратно домой.

На заметку: Не забудь крем от солнца, спрей от насекомых и конечно же купальник. Рядом нет никаких магазинов, поэтому возьми с собой обед и воду.
