Orders for the Tesla Model 3 Long Range variant have been shut off in the Tesla Design Studio, with a caveat stating that the variant will be "Available in 2023." Has the Model 3 Long Range been Discontinued by Tesla??

Was the demand for this variant too high to be sustainable? This was the most popular Model 3 variant, and so it stands to reason that the demand backlog may have grown simply too long to justify continuing to take new orders...
