Lake Oconee's best kept secret getaway is nestled at the southern region of the lake where the Georgia Power Dam separates Lake Sinclair.
It is unknown when and who actually made the "Rock Hawk" or Rock Eagle Effigies, but it was occupied by Native Americans in 1800 before settlers took ownership. Read more about this history when you climb the tower to the view the image below, which is presently protected by a fenced area.

A lot of history lies in this park along with an outdoor classroom, archery trails & targets, bike and walking trails, boat ramp, beach and full facilities at the campgrounds with playgrounds, grills, pavilions, laundry, and restrooms/showers.

This area is still gorgeous, quiet with very little traffic and a wonderful place to build or purchase a home to raise a family, live the single life, own a 2nd home or retire.

If you would like to see homes in this or other areas, don't hesitate to call, text or email.
