PEACE News & Views Ep22 with guest Pat Warnecke

Pat Warnecke began his journey with cannabis and plant medicines as a patient with symptoms of PTSD, autoimmune disease, and addictions. As he could not get any real answers or help for his symptoms he had through the health system, he started to research for solutions to his health issues and came across cannabis. This plant along with other plant and frog medicines as treatment options, Pat found them to be the best path forward.
These types of medicines and treatments were very hard to come by in Saskatchewan and he knew of many others needing some access to safe and affordable cannabis products. Pat decided to start the Best Buds Society in 2015 in Regina and had plans for more stores in Saskatoon and Edmonton to follow. They grew to over 12,000 patients and were able to provide professional services by professionally trained and certified team members and safe, quality, at affordable price points on products to many patients. The price points accommodated low barrier, low-income patients, providing subsidized economical and free products to many addicts and other patients.
In 2018, Best Buds Society was raided twice in Regina and once in Edmonton; Pat says "our inability to accept the lack of compassion and ignorance on the behalf of the government has led to a long ongoing court battle since 2018 and is awaiting the first decision on August 23."
Since 2018 Pat has been involved in Indigenous Plant Medicine projects from Cannabis grow operations and retail stores to working with addictions projects and conferences with other Entheogenic medicine practitioners and professionals.
The newest and exciting Cannabis project and company, Dabster.app, is a step away from the path they have been on and is more geared towards the general safety and enjoyment of all cannabis consumers and connoisseurs that are consuming extracts.

This Friday the team is releasing their Dabster.app temperature thermometer with app. The free app (available on Apple and Google Play Stores) with the wireless, chargeable, Bluetooth enabled, Dabster thermometer allows the consumer to always hit the perfect temp dab, every time, giving the consumer a customizable, consistent, connoisseur level cannabis experience, saving unnecessary lung damage and money.
Pat also said, "We are hoping to get Dabsters out to cannabis stores and connoisseurs across the world by 2023."
