Our First Lambing...Learned a lot

This is our first time lambing, which happened back in April. Here at My Homestead Education, we really do learn, first hand, how things are done, and it isn't always easy. As you will see, we had some ups and downs here, and a lot of learning going on.

The hard part about looking back is, we could have known what to do, had we even known what questions to ask ahead of time. If you are new to homesteading, gardening, raising animals, cooking...anything we do here, most of the time, you are going to see what it is like for a first timer, just like you. Some times we feel a bit embarrassed, but the truth is, we shouldn't be. When you are new at something your just new, and don't know yet how things are done.

So if you are looking for a learning experience, with all the details of lambing, and maybe some details you don't want, here it is, all wrapped up in one heck of a classroom called life. This is our experience with our first lamb.
