Plants vs Zombies 2 - Penny's Pursuit - Starfruit - August 2022

This Penny's quest focuses on the Seedium plant Starfruit and was offered between August 10, 2022 and August 17, 2022.

Starfruit is a member of the Appease-Mint family.
Costs 150 Sun - (125 at level 4)
Shoots stars in five (5) directions: Up/Down/Left/Up and Right/Down and Right
Each star does 20 damage. (+10 per level)
When given plant food, Starfruit shoots ten (10) giant stars doing 80 damage. (120 at level 2, 180 at level 4, +100 every two levels thereafter.)

Commentary:
Starfruit is one of the “punch for Sun cost” plants. Starfruit also handles imps thrown by Gargantuars and dropped by Pterodactyls without the need to select an extra plant or adjust strategy.

The only weakness is directly in front of Starfruit where there is no direct line of fire. However, a column of Starfruit can handle most zombies.

Bottom Line:
Starfruit is a solid plant. This plant likes to be placed in columns 4-6 which most plants do not do well here. Starfruit is also a common choice for the level of the day so having a strong Starfruit will make those levels easier.

Perk = Bass Blast Perk (Knock-back)
Survive the zombie attack - Beghouled-style
Defeat 1,500 / 2,000 / 2,500 chickens

Level 4 - Difficulty 🌶️🌶️🌶️ - Bonus 0 of 2
Perk = Zom-B-Gone - Gargantuars
Survive for three (3) minutes.
Defeat Caesar 1 / 1 / 1 time.
Chill zombies not offered / 50 / 60 times

Level 5 - Difficulty 🌶️🌶️🌶️ - FAIL
Perk = Zom-B-Gone - Gargantuars
Survive the zombie attack
There are precious flowers on the lawn which can not be trampled - 1 and 2
Chill zombies not offered / 30 / 50 times
Octozombies are simply too difficult without higher levels of Penny Perks
