Top 10 ugliest dogs in the world

Hi, everyone! In this video, we'll be counting down the top 10 ugliest dogs in the world. But before we get started, we just want to say that we love all dogs, no matter what they look like. They're all special in their own way.

These dogs may not be conventional beauties, but they're definitely unique. And many of them are actually quite adorable, in a quirky sort of way. So without further ado, let's get started!

Number 10. Yoda (2011).
Yoda is a cross between a Chihuahua and a Chinese crested, was crowned the world's ugliest dog in 2011 in a competition in northern California.

Yoda was found abandoned behind an apartment building, and her owner says at first she thought it was an overgrown rat.

Yoda just died 8 months after winning the ugliest dog title.

Number 9. MUGLY (2012).
A Chinese crested dog from the United Kingdom. Mugly's big moment came when he was crowned the World's Ugliest Dog in 2012.

Number 8. WALLE (2013).
Walle, a four-year-old Beagle Basset Hound Boxer mix from Chico, California, was crowned the World's Ugliest Dog at the annual Sonoma-Marin Fair.

Number 7. PEANUT (2014).
Peanut is a 2-year-old mutt who was seriously burned as a puppy. He doesn’t have lips anymore, and his eyelids are also gone, so he can’t close his eyes.

Number 6. QUASI MODO (2015).
Quasi Modo, a 10-year-old pit bull and Dutch shepherd mix, was born with spinal defects, giving her an appearance of a hunchback.

Number 5. SWEEPEE RAMBO (2016).

Sweepee Rambo, the 17-year-old blind Chihuahua–Chinese crested mix, was finally named the 2016 World’s Ugliest Dog at a Sonoma-Marin County Fairgrounds contest in Petaluma, California.

Number 4. MARTHA (2017).
Martha, a 3-year-old Neapolitan Mastiff, is announced the winner of the World's Ugliest Dog Contest in Petaluma, Calif.

Number 3. ZSA ZSA (2018).
Zsa was a 3-year-old English bulldog rescued with a nasty underbite and dangling tongue. This earned her the title of "World's Ugliest Dog".

Number 2. SCAMP THE TRAMP (2019).
Scamp the Tramp may not be a beauty, but he's definitely got personality. The bug-eyed, dreadlocked pooch won the World's Ugliest Dog Contest, much to the delight of his owner Yvonne Morones of Santa Rosa. She took home the $1500 cash prize and trophy, and Scamp is now the official World's Ugliest Dog.

Number 1. MR. HAPPY FACE (2022).
Mr. Happy Face has won first place in the annual ‘World’s Ugliest Dog Competition. He was adopted by Janeda Banelly from an animal shelter in Arizona.
