I went to my dads house and put a badly needed upgraded exhaust on my 2018 Chevrolet Silverado. The first step to getting any exhaust kit is to figure out what you want, there are always videos on YouTube that let everyone hear what and exhaust sounds like. After you found something you like check out if it the exhaust is compliant with your states policies on emissions. Most of the big companies exhaust kits are going to be 50 state compliant which is why they are bigger companies with successful business models. When you get the kit make sure they sent you the correct stuff, mistakes happen in these operations and a part guy in shipping who isn't paying attention will send you the wrong thing and you won't realize it until its too late and your stuff doesn't fit. At that point, you better hope you didn't break anything and your company your dealing with is cool with you sending it back. We did have to use some advanced techniques to get the exhaust off, your everyday DIY mechanic probably isn't going to be able to do that how ever if you don't have top heat anything up your in good shape. The install wasn't that bad and it was fun getting to work with my dad again, the 5.3 roars now!
