REAL ESTATE INVESTING VLOG #9 - Tile Selection Tips!

In this episode of my real estate investing vlog I take you behind the scenes as Joaquin (my architect) and I make some big decisions for the art apartment remodel project. You're going to learn a lot from this episode because you see what it's really like to tackle design problems in the real world, as they occur. It's an inside look at the reality of real estate investing.

First we go to our favorite home furnishing store to select a tile that will complete our gorgeous master bedroom. Then we go back to the art apartment to make decisions on the master closet. As real estate investors or home remodelers, the master closet and bathroom are two keys to selling or renting at a premium price.

Take aways from this episode:

1. Always try to "tie in" materials with one another to create a look of consistency
2. Consider mixing an old design (bow tie) with something more modern (marble) to give your space some pop
3. Always try to maximize a space. Don't just think horizontally but vertically as well. And don't be afraid to get creative!!
