Frustrating Injustice

Sometimes it is hard to wrap our mind around the ways of God. Bad people make bad choices, do things unjustly, falsely accuse people, lie about people and they seem to get away with it. Then we have those who are good, who are falsely accused and get no justice. These things bother me until I chose to remember truth, that God’s point of view, His kingdom perspective is long and my worldly viewpoint is short, and that is why I need to activate my faith, which is the believing in the substance of things not seen. This is when I decide that I must trust in what I know. Well, what do I know? I know God is fair. I know God is just. I know God is working out everything for our good, for our best, so He can get amazing glory from His end game. I know God is faithful. I know God finishes well and that He is a trustworthy Advocate. We think we have to balance the scales of injustice, that everything needs to turn out fair. This is not life. Sometimes an outcome is just not fair. These are the times we remember that God is a God of justice and His justice will prevail. Wait on it, patiently endure and see how God’s ways may not be our ways, but the endgame is so amazing and turns out to be for our best and for His glory. The worst injustice to deal with is when a person is actually doing what is bad and then they deny they are doing it and accuse someone innocent of doing it. Deny-Accuse, a tactic of the enemy that is so frustrating and really makes me angry. When an injustice has occurred and the situation seems so unfair, remember that we have God’s strength inside of us, we have the strength to be self-controlled and patiently wait while God is at work in the unseen. We can patiently endure in Christ, by the power of God’s Holy Spirit. Our strength is in the Lord. Awe-God!
Happy are the people whose strength is in you, whose hearts are set on pilgrimage. As they pass through the Valley of Baca, they make it a source of spring water; even the autumn rain will cover it with blessings. They go from strength to strength; each appears before God in Zion.
