So vet said classic Sweet Itch, reaction to Gnats or Flies. Cortisone shot, benadryl, Hydrocortisone Spray for itching. Sweet Itch is basically a reaction to Gnat bites, the saliva from gnat cause intense itching, which in turn cause rubbing by horse to scratch itch.
